Kalat Gallery can manufacture custom carpets to order. This is an example of a set of custom superfine rugs made in Andkhui, Afghanistan in 2003-04. They measured 8’6” x 28’6” and matching runner 3’6” x 12’6” with over 4 million knot. Though made in a mud building on a horizontal loom held together with millstones these carpets were straight as an arrow for their entire length. Just beautiful pieces!
